The Magna-Trak 102 locator provides all the basic features of the popular Magna-Trak 100 audio only ferrous metal locator, but also has a complete digital display to aid in the location of objects by adding a graphical display of the signal strength, volume and sensitivity. Most importantly, the unit features an erase button to allow the user to eliminate interfering signals. When a megnetic distrubance such as a metal fence is confronted, simply press the erase button and the disturbance is erased for continued searching. The MT102 can locate ferrous metal objects from 6" to 15ft below ground depending on the magnetic properties of the item being searched for. The MT102 also features a power line indicator to let you know a power line is in the area. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A TOOL TO LOCATE POWER LINES UNDERGROUND, It is only an aid.
