March 16th, 2007 On March 16, 2007, the Board of Directors of TOPCON CORPORATION and Sokkia Company Limited have agreed upon a basic agreement of a combination between both companies. The combination is expected to be in the form of TOPCON CORPORATION acquiring the shares of SOKKIA and Sokkia becoming a subsidiary of TOPCON.
